Full-Time Positions:

Position Overview: The Manufacturing Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth operations within the manufacturing environment. This position involves interfacing with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and facilitate quotations while collaborating closely with various internal departments to ensure orders are delivered timely and meet quality expectations. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses via phone, email, or other communication channels.
  • Address customer concerns, complaints, and inquiries promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
  • Quotations:
  • Receive and process customer requests for quotations.
  • Ensure quote follow-up in a timely manner and relay feedback to outside sales & the costing department.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized support.
  • Proactively engage with customers to anticipate their needs, offer solutions, and promote additional products or services when appropriate.
  • Problem Resolution:
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues related to orders, deliveries, product quality, or other concerns, escalating complex issues to the appropriate departments as needed.
  • Document all customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the CRM system to track trends and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Facilitate returns, replacements, or refunds for defective or unsatisfactory products, following established procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of Associates degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in customer service or sales support roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment required.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business applications.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, products, and industry standards.
  • OEM Sales Experience – Aerospace, defense, industrial required.
  • High Energy, ability to multi-task, tech savvy
  • Niche Market
  • Optics knowledge a bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
